Wire Paternoster

how to rig paternoster rig?
hi, i'm trying to catch a flounder and i heard paternoster rig is really good for them. But, i saw that you need a wire to use rig the rig, and i don't have any wire. http://www.btinternet.com/~kevin.l.j.knight/Paternoster.htm
this is the site of rig i'm going to use and i dont have any wire so can i use 3 way swivel instead? or is it like way better if i use wire? what can i use instead of wire?and even though if i have wire, how do i tie it on to the line?
here are a few links for you. you should be an expert after this.
