Which brand of braided fishing line will hold its color better than others.?
I am planning on getting a Hi-Vis Yellow braid since I do a lot of night fishing, I was planning on getting PowerPro's Hi-Vis Yellow braid, but after talking to some people at a local tackle shop, they told me that PowerPro looses its color quickly and that the Hi-Vis Yellow would be white before I knew it.
My choice now is Stren Sonic Braid Hi-Vis Yellow line, because I heard Stren makes a good quality braid and it will hold its color for a long time. Though, others say it will not hold its color very long. Is that true, or will it hold it color loner than other braids?
Pretty much any super braid lines will lose their color. It is spectra fibers and are slick and any dyes used will start to come off. It comes down to how many times you go fishing I guess. So I would say there really isn't any way to measure how long a super braid line will retain its color.
