Any tips on the meal I am cooking in my slow cooker?
This is my first attempt using new Rival Slow cooker versi-crock pot.....
I put an onion in the bottom ...then added butterfly pork chops with salt and pepper...then added 32 oz sauerkraut w/juice on top of that with about 1/4 cup of brown sugar.......I have it on low setting and plan on cooking about 8 hours...
Do you think this will be good..its starting to smell good right now....any other things you would add?
You're on the right track......if you happen to have any apples in your pantry, pork and sauerkraut and apples are great, the apples lend a great flavor to the entire dish.......There are some great slow cooker recipes on Betty Crocker.com, check them out!!! Enjoy your chops!!! And you'll get to LOVE your slow cooker...........Heck, I have two of them!!!
