Tray Fishing
I work in a seafood house and we use fresh fish i took the raw scraps and blended them is it safe for Oscars?
I froze them in ice trays they were blended very good the fish are Mahi Mahi , Trout, Red fish, Snapper the fish very fresh the Oscar are eating the cubes seem to like is this okay for fish.
Should be fine, I would thaw them first though. You also should still feed them a good cichlid pellet so they can get the vitamins and nutrients that the fish your feeding them do not have. It's not that the fish you feeding is bad, it is just that they add a lot of vitamins to pellets that are essential to a healthy diet. But it is always good to keep their diet varied anyways to keep them from getting board. I would stay away from fish guts, and oily fish such as salmon and mackerel, this will dirty up the tank very quickly.
