anyone fish the Garcia or Gualala rivers lately?
You talkin' about those great Steelie rivers in the vicinity of Manchester and Point Arena? Ha', use ta' fish both the Gualala and the Garcia religiously! Haven't in awhile but ,intend on gettin' my A _ _ back up there soon. Garcia for me bein' the real producer of the two ~ great Steelie fishin'. Don't get me wrong, no way sellin' the Gualala short, have pulled some good "Ironheads" out of it too. Nother one fantastic river that I'd patronize be northward up Hwy 1 in the little town of Petrolia and that'd be the Mattloe. Over the years a lotta' negative changes have taken place with not only the Steelhead but Salmon runs as well, in this blankety, blankety state! Most of my stlhd fishing lately has been on the Trinity (Lewiston) and the "Sacto" (Red Bluff and Redding) rivers. Honestly wish I had some recent updates on the Gualala for ya' but, am goin' to keep me eyes on your post for other Answers ppl's responses ~ never know we both might get some good words. Don't find to many ppl on Answers that fish Steelhead in the states of CA., OR. and or Washington ~ that be why I jumped on your post
