does anyone know what the machine is called that makes bracelets and ropes and things like that?
i saw it at an apple harvest festival. it was a machine that had little spools of string and they would keep circling around and make a bracelet or rope. i don't know what it's called. if you have any idea what im talking about please tell me.

ROPE is made from multiple strands, and is either twisted or braided.
The first rope machine patent (759) was issued to Sellers & Bantle on May 5, 1807. This machine had three strand hooks on shafts driven from a central gear (sun and planet gearing). The hand cranked gearing was housed in a wooden box mounted on a wooden stake.
