Shooting Taper
Question for someone who knows a lot about hockey sticks and blades.?
I bought a tapered shaft and blade and the blade started breaking so i took it out of he shaft and i put a regular blade into it. It shoots a little different for some reason so i was just wondering if it was okay to put a regular blade into a tapered shaft. I know a tapered shaft means it gets smaller but i don't know why it shoots different. instead of getting a nice hard shot it is weaker and it kinda flips so when i try to pick corners it will shoot way higher than what i wanted. And its not the curve i have.
Tapered shaft = Tapered blade the only thing you can try doing is flipping the shaft and putting the blade in the opposite end.
