Shock Leader
How can I get more distance with my casting pendulum?
OK, here's my setup, 12 'sailing Daiwa Beef Stick with the bar from medicine, 20-pound line on a spinning reel and a shock leader 40 pounds, 3 oz weight, I'm not even able to run 100 meters, what the hell I'm doing wrong?
I use the pendulum to surf fishing and my starting line of 03.02 e length of my bar my best distances.I using a count of 3 and cast the swing at the third charge my cane, but based on the longer time for delivery so just go to practice. My Bar are - Ugly Stiks August 11 to 12 feet and 2 bars personalized 12'6 "and 14" coil - Eagle Claw Beast, Mitchell 7500, 80 Okuma, ABU 7000 lines £ 12 to £ 40 single braid am! not sure of the action of the tip of the cane, but a softer tip to load the bar long range, but it seems you have a good set and be able to reach 100 to 135 yards with it! When I lived in Ft.Pierce, Florida. COMPITE had little distance the beach and could reach 175 meters from the fishing tackle.So simply maintain the practice and luck, good!
