How do keep in shape this summer despite a broken collarbone?
I was sprinting full on when I tripped, fell, and busted my left collar bone. It snapped clean, with the segments facing up and down.
I'm a long distance runner and I was planning to get better over the summer but now that I can't run, can anyone give me tips to keep in shape so that I didn't waste all my winter and spring training?

i can relate i broke the same collar bone when i was 5,im guessing its to sore to run,so i would just suggest maintaining your fitness until your fully healed.if you can stand walking then long distance walks will seriously build up leg strength and stamina,and why not get some ankle weights as well,they actually do work
