How to fix broken USB in Logitech External HD (LHD-ES series)?
My USB port inside the external HD broke while still pligged in. Im not so computer savvy. The silver piece is floating around inside. I can hear it ching around when I shake it. How can I fix this. I don't see any screws to open it? Also, can I just snap it back into place?
its stuffed you shoul be able to pull the ends off and put a new socket in, otherwise you can get a new case for the hardrive once youve removed it, you can also hook it up to and IDE inside your computer, also those sockets have a clip type connector at the back you may be able to connect to that in the meantime
