does an iron or lead fishing sinker reach the temperature of the lake it is dropped in more quickly?

It's a physics question. k, is the property of a material that indicates its ability to conduct heat. Thermal conductivity is measured in watts per kelvin per metre (W·K−1·m−1). Multiplied by a temperature difference (in kelvins, K) and an area (in square metres, m2), and divided by a thickness (in metres, m) the thermal conductivity predicts the power loss (in watts, W) through a piece of material.
In metals, thermal conductivity approximately tracks electrical conductivity according to the Wiedemann-Franz law
Lead has a greater electrical resistivity (208 nOhm m) than Iron (96 nOhm m)
Lead has a lower thermal conductivity (35 W/m/K) than iron (80 W/m/K)
Therefore the iron should reach the temperature of the lake first, NOT the lead. again, WE didnt figure this out, it was done a long time ago,"opinions" have nothing to do with it.
