Green Fishing
Does the color of braided fishing line make a difference red, green,yellow etc trolling for trout?
Right now i,m using green spiderwire the old red box stuff
if i remember the water has a greenish tint to it
i guess i should add this will be for a new rod and reel, ive been looking at all the new braid and colors theres alots to choose from
Your green line is fine. No point changing it. Unless you get to a lake full of red algae of course.
Not many of those around at the moment but it's likely what caused that old 'Nile running with blood' event.
Here's a red lake for the latest in fashionable braided line colors but red lakes are too salty for trout.

I saw the salt lake in the Atacama....flamingoes go pink from the red pigment in the shrimps they eat.
Shrimps get it from the red algae they eat. Now there's a fashion industry for ya........
