Great Water
How have the air and water been affected by various resource use? (air ozone; water-great lakes)?
PLease and thank you.
I need to know for one of my questions for hmwk and need a bit of help on it
pollution of both air and water. for example drilling of boreholes has led to contamination of underground water resources. also, sea navigation by ship has resulted to contamination of oceansand water bodies due to oil spills.
Effect on air is mainly from burning of fossil fuels, use of fossil fuels e.g. petroleum products leads to release of hydrogen carbons and other greenhouse gases. this has resulted to global warming.
Use of land for cultivation requires use of fertilizers. these sometimes is eroded downstream by agents of wind and rain. the result is contamination of water reservoirs/ bodies.
Basically, the resources available to man affect land, water and air.
the resources are depleted from their use by mankind.
