Where is a good guide for building structures in SIMs 2?
I have some pretty good archatechial (forgive the spelling) ideas but don't know how to do what I want. For instance I've seen roofs that are like normal slant roofs but cut off and flat on top and, like on the micro mall with the big gorilla on top of it, but have no idea how to acoplish this. The only roofs I can make are completely flat or go all the way up I don't see any tool for making this kind of roof. Anyway, my question is, does anyone know of an on line guide, or downloadable one, that shows you how to build like a pro?

I saw that there were a few links for roofs, although I didn't take a close look at whether they go in detail on getting the kind of roof you're describing. But there were a couple of links specifically for roofs.
Also, try checking youtube. A lot of people post video tutorials there as well, and they can be really helpful.

I've never tried to make any custom roofs though, but hopefully your answer is in there somewhere.
