Eeonyx's Conductive Textiles And Foams Re-Energize Design

CONDUCTIVE TEXTILES AND FOAMS
Eeonyx offers a full line of textiles and foams for a broad range of applications, from ESD [Electrostatic Discharge] to resistive heating, dynamic pressure sensing and radar avoidance. These include the aptly-named Eeontex, Eeonfelt, Eeonyarn, Eeonfoam and Eeonstat, as outlined below.
EeonTex is a textile with a tunable conductive polymer coating that renders it electrically conductive. Customers can order a specific electrical resistance that can be applied in gradients or even in patterns. Uses for EeonTex currently include Electrostatic Discharge applications, bomb suits, clean room garments, resistive heaters and piezoresistive textile sensors.
EeonFelt is a lightweight, dust-free conductive felt textile with broadband absorptive properties. Like Eeonyx's other products, Eeonfelt is overlaid with a conductive polymer coating and can be tailored to a customer's specifications. It offers graded resistance and is flame retardant.
EeonYarn is a conductive polymer-coated yarn with precisely tunable electrical resistance and excellent uniformity of linear resistance. EeonYarn is durable and able to stand up to real-world conditions such as abrasion and repeated washings. Applications for EeonYarn include radar absorbing textiles and composites, resistive textile heaters, and woven pressure sensors.
EeonFoam is an open-cell polyurethane foam with a conductive polymer coating. Current uses for EeonFoam include damping cavity resonances, EMI [electromagnetic interference] suppression, and static dissipation.
EeonStat is a line of static control textiles intended for use in clean room garments made for electronics manufacturing. The textile never allows a charge to be created, as electricity is immediately dissipated by the textile's moderate conductivity.
