Fly fishing.. ..................?
So I just got a fly fishing rod and I was wondering are the flies in the box good for bluegill/trout because I only fish in lakes also is there any flies for like bass/pickeral/pike is flyfishing better and any other details thanks oh and I fish alot so I know alot of things it's just my first fly rod I always used normal and do bass/pickeral normaly take them
If you told us about the flies that came with your fly rod, we could offer better answers, but, yes, as the others have said -- many flies that are considered trout flies will also work on bluegill, perch, crappie, etc.
If you are fishing for bass, pike, walleye, and larger perch and crappie, you will want to stick mostly with streamers. Dry flies are designed to imitate insects on the the surface of the water (anything from mayflies to caddisflies to grasshoppers). Streamers are different. They are a type of wet fly designed to imitate larger aquatic forage, such as baitfish, fry, pollywogs, sculpin, and crawdads. Streamers can also imitate other critters like leaches and large aquatic insect larva (like damselfly larva). Here are some commonly used fly fishing streamers:
Woolly Bugger -- probably the most well-known and versatile of all streamers. Imitates at least 10 different kinds of fish forage.

Muddler Minnow -- a close second to the Bugger.

Clouser Minnow -- used worldwide, in small streams and oceans.

Mickey Finn -- another fly that is used in virtually every kind of water to fish for every kind of fish.

Zonker Minnow -- another deadly pattern for big, aggressive fish.

Zonker Leach -- made to look like a free-floating leach, bloated with blood (yum!).
As you can see, streamers are long, with materials like maribou and fur that "stream" out behind the hook. They often have eyes and red stripes to suggest small, disabled fish. You fish streamers under the water at depths where natural forage are found. Typically you strip in line to give streamers some swimming action, though some can be fished on a dead drift -- Woolly Buggers can be dead drifted to suggest aquatic insect larva on the current, and leaches should be dead drifted in slackwater or stillwater or given a very little, pulsating action.
You can also fish predatory game fish with poppers. Poppers are designed to look like frogs, wounded fish, and even mice that might be struggling along at the water's surface. Poppers float and you give them lots of splashy action with quick line strips.
