Flurocarbon Fishing
fishing lure retriever problem?
i have a lure retriever i use for bass fishing.the bottom of the retriever is plasic.its were u put your fishing line.i use 10 pound flurocarbon.and its on a 15 foot pool.the bottom plastic.. is getting groves in it from my fishing line.which means the groves are going to miss up my line each time i use my lure retriever.any idea on how to fix this.maybe some kind of hard paint spray are something to put on the plastic that gets groves from the fishing line.
spool... no i mean the end of the lure retriever.. expoxy is a good idea but im not sure its harder than plastic.next time i use it the fishing line justs going to cut more grooves in it.looking for something to spray on it thats harder than the plastic.
Try filling in the grooves with a good hard setting epoxy. This should make the plastic bottom of the retriever nice and smooth again. You might need to do a little sanding after the epoxy sets to get rid of any rough spots.
