Having sharp pains in my stomache and a lot of gas?
My husband has been dealing with very sharp pains in his stomach and has had a lot of gas these past 2-3 weeks. He's been eating healthy: salads, fruit, vegetables, fish, tea, etc. We were thinking it could be something he's been eating, but I've been eating almost the same things as him and I've been fine. We did have steak tartarre when we went on holiday so I don't know if that has to do anything with it. Does anyone have any idea what this could be or what would relieve this pain and gas?
The pain is below his stomach and he thinks it could be his intestines. He thinks it could be wind but it's getting much worse. When he uses the restroom now it hurts. Hope this added information helps.

He should start taking metamucil powder 1tsp. first thing in the morning unless they get night. This is going to start removing the waste from the intestines that can form painful gas. This is going to take time.
