Fishing Fly Tackle
I am going fishing this summer, what should I take?
I'll be at my mom's cottage and I haven't fished in years so I'm pretty clueless, what tackle is essential and/or helpful? I'll be fishing from a boat and probably from shore too. I do want to try fly fishing as well as regular fishing and trolling possibly as well. Also is there any basic fishing techniques I should know of?? any info would help thanks!

Good casting reel like a zebco, etc for casting for bream and crappie. You can use a cork with split shot lead and bream/crappie hook. Use red worms or minnows for bait. A good all around lure is a beetle spin type lure. Bream, crappie, and bass bite those. You can use any of these things in the boat, on the bank, or trolling. If you are going for bigger fish like bass, you can use a good bait casting reel like ambassadeur with good casting rod. Use plastic worms, etc for casting. Happy fishing!!!!
