Wearing fishhook earrings after 3 months?
I've had my ears pierced for 3 months now. I took the piercing studs out at 6 weeks. I have only worn studs since then. I want to start wearing fish hook earrings but a couple weeks ago i tryed on some fish hooks and it kinda hurt to take them out and my ear hole bled afterwards. Is that a normal for the first time putting on fishhooks? Is it safe to wear light fishhooks and hoops?
Yes, your body is just getting used to it. After having the studs in, thats all your body has known and it just takes some time to get used to it. Make sure your continue to clean your ears and clean the jewelry, you'll be fine. But if you notice anything unusual (a bump, your ear oozes puss or anything like that) see a doctor.
