Fish Fluorocarbon
What type of fishing line should I use?
1. Kind- Co-polymer, monofilament, fluorocarbon, etc
2. Test- I mostly fish for bass, trout, pickerel, pike etc.
3. Color- I hear red is the best whats your opinion?
Thanks
You didnt really answer my question TH all you said was the color but thanks anyways..
kind i like braided lines for bass pike and walleye or pretty much any game fish. i also use mono in about 10-14 lbs test as tends to be nice for all species of fish. but what you need is two spools for your reel. normally spinning rods come with a spare spool fo rthis reason. so for one spool i'd put on some 8-12lbs for your trout bass walleye. and use the second spool for something like 20lbs braided line as you can get 20lbs braid in about 6lbs diameter now. that 20lbs can be in any colour like green red blue whatever colour you want red is the hardest to see deep in the water column where as greens and brown colours are good for fishing shallow murky waters. for the mono line clear works good for every condition of water well almost every. but stay away from fluorocarbon as it has alot of memory to is so using spoons spinners small tubes can cause your line to tangle around the tip of the round when it goes slack i like staying away from it.
overal
kind braided or mono
test braided up to 20lbs, mono 8-12lbs for spinning gear.
colour braided: any colour you'd like really mono: clear or green
colour in my opinion is one of the tougher choices as it depends on the water conditions and depth your fishing at.
