Bungee Worm

Bungee worms?
You know, these slimy fluo green worms which stay in suspension at the end of a string, tied to the branches of oaks... What are they doing? Is that a hobby?
I don't think they are trying out bungee jumping to see if they like it ... Maybe it's a way to catch their prey...Flying insects can be part of their diet... As spiders spin their webs to catch their flying meal (....!) these sort of worms stay hung from this string to catch it's prey on air...
