Questions about sewn in hair extensions?
I got extensions sewn in - 2 braids across the head - about 2 weeks ago. For the first few days, the ends of the braids (i.e., on side of head) hurt like they were too tight. They feel fine now. I've read that braids should not be too tight, but the women at the salon said that braids always feel like this at first but it gets better. Are they right, or should the braids not hurt even when they're just put in? They only hurt on the ends and not all over. Then starting the 2nd day, the braids started itching LIKE CRAZY. It doesn't itch now as bad as it used to, but the braid ends on the side of my head itch the worst! I can feel the nylon(?) thread and really short "hair" - the synthetic part of the braid (not the extensions which are human hair) poking into my scalp! I can stand the other itching over the rest of the braids, but the pricking sensation at the edges is unbearable. Can I ask the salon to adjust the braid or what else can I do?
the two braids sound a little crzy i always do between 6-10 but yeah braids do hurt at first but they shouldnt hurt too bad and im not sure why they would itch other than they were pulling your scalp and it gor irritated
